God's gifts from one year of One Thousand Gifts
I want to post a labor of love. It was not my labor, but the work of my step-father. Richard so kindly put together my year's worth of pictures from 2011 into video form: God's gifts from 2011. Watching the pictures in video always brings me to tears and never ceases to remind me that I can't take a moment for granted; they all pass too quickly.
Many thanks, Richard; your work is such a gift to me.
It was over a year ago that I started this journey toward gratitude (see the beginning at March 2011: One Thousand Gifts). God's been transforming me from complainer into one who praises Him for His daily gifts in each moment. I have so far to grow: complaining and ingratitude still pops up in my heart and mouth. But I am grateful for His continuing work.
If you want to grow in your praise of God and your realization of His beauty in each moment, read One Thousand Gifts by Ann Voskamp and check out her blog at www.aholyexperience.com.
