God's gifts 118-127

I thought of this verse today as I thought about my list.  God's mercies are new every  morning.  That is why I can find new gifts - new glimpses of His kindness all around me each day.   Thank you, Lord! Lamentations 3:22-24 Through the LORD’s mercies we are not consumed,        Because His compassions fail not.  They are new every morning;        Great is Your faithfulness.  “The LORD is my portion,” says my soul,        “Therefore I hope in Him!”  118. Waking Abel up and him wanting to climb in to cuddle with his sissy 119. Exploring a new park 120. Adrianna pretending to be a spider on a web 121. Playground shadows 122. Blue eyes reflected in blue sky 123. Blue windows and blue doors 124. The beacon of hope given to me last spring as we waited to bring our son home.  As I saw it tonight, I was reminded how I longed to hold my boy in those months of waiting.  And now he loves to be cuddled just so. 125. Gluten-free recipe ideas for Adrianna.  (Shown here: Goldfish crackers m

Abel spraying himself in the face with the sink water and thinking it was pure joy 128. Guzzling apple cider straight from the bottle  129. Abel creating a game of making tunnels over Ruthie A couple that I am choosing to be thankful for... 130. Learning to be patient and to enjoy each moment while Abel kept stopping his vehicle rather than riding it on our walk 131. Abel not

89. Waking up with "Mighty to Save" in my head. 90. Having my blood drawn from a competent nurse.. almost no pain. 91. Enjoying Abel's ecstatic reaction to his birthday toy, which is not even assembled yet. 92. Adrianna making a "room" out of a box. 93. My father-in-law phoning me to ask if the kids wanted to come "help" him move hay with his tractor. 94. Watching Abel so enjoy the tractor ride that he grew serious with his "work." 95. Today was so packed with "moments," I'm just afraid I won't remember them all.  :) 76. Making Ethiopian teff cereal for breakfast.  It has no ingredients that Adrianna is allergic to and Abel loves the taste of home.  And it's high in fiber and protein and has no sugars (perfect for me, too!). 77. Praising Jesus with our body of believers. 78. Surprising Adrianna with a little something.  Scott asked her to guess what it might be, and gave her a clue that it was something she had wanted for a long time.  "Is it an iron?" she asked hopefully.  Our girl has wanted a play iron and ironing board for at least two years now.  And so when I saw one at a store a few weeks ago, I bought it without her knowing. 79. Abel dressing up for church in his dapper new Easter outfit (kindly handed down from a friend). 80. Scott getting to show Adrianna his leftover clam shells from last night's seafood dinner, and her knowing exactly w

60. Watching Abel jump in his crib when I go to get him up in the morning.  Must be nice to be so perky first thing! 61. Playing with the kids with one of Abel's birthday presents.  Adrianna soon had the pegs organized by color.  (I have no idea from where she gets her organizing genes. ;)  62. Abel stealing Adrianna's shoes every time she takes them off.  63. Scott and Adrianna playing "doctor" together. 64. Howling like coyotes with the kids in the bathroom.  The acoustics are amazing for howls. 65. Abel singing his "Anna" song: "Anna-anna-na-na-na."  He made up the tune and the lyrics. 66. Watching Adrianna prepare to help Scott with yard work. 67. Laughing at myself for being a klutz hauling vine trimmings from the yard gate to the truck.  I lost almost half of each arm-load during transport. 68. Eating with Adrianna while she formed her name out of pasta.  69. Preparing a Sunday School craft about Abraham being willing to sacrifice
