God's gifts from family outings

Striving again to list God's moments of grace more regularly, to help maintain the habit...
From the end of last week and the weekend:
- Enjoying a breather week

- Delighting in an entire week with the most beautiful sunshine and absence of wind (a rarity here in the spring time)

- Looking out the window to my kiddos doing this (because they wanted to!)
- Game night with Mexican Train
... And Adrianna understanding how to play it for real
... And Grandma and Grandpa being able to come
- Saturday morning pancakes (this time with quinoa flour)

- Taking the kids out to look for the "waterfall" (it's been three years since we've actually seen it flow :)

 - Making homemade chocolate bars (sweetened naturally!)
 - Making an ice cream shirt with Adrianna
... "Mom, I know what I want on that white shirt: an ice cream cone!"
- Fort building
... And her being big enough to do it on her own
- Taking an afternoon trip to our nearby landmark

... And seeing the deer

... And Abel counting them
... And getting the kids to finish the walk back by racing each other
 - Day two of fort fun
... And Abel joining in

- Making chocolate chip cookie dough dip (another hidden bean sweet dip)

- Abel insisting on wearing Adrianna's bow
- Mario Kart
... And Abel chilling with the African children's album

- Reorganizing all my allergy-free recipes... again

- Going to play group, and Abel getting to play with two other boys just his age

- Washing Abel's Thomas the Train book

- My in laws watching Abel on Monday afternoons, so that Adrianna and I can have some girl time
... And Adrianna chatting my ear off with all the words she has stored up

<3 Miss you guys!
You live in SUCH a stunning place!

It's always such a treat to see the different sites near your house (and the sun that beautifully beams down upon them!)

The one w/ A listening to the African Children's Choir just sent tears flowing...THAT is beautiful! :)

Keep up the amazing work with your love list. It's so encouraging and inspiring to me to hear all that you are thankful for, thank you for this.
