God's gifts from fleeting autumn splendor

Counting my blessings, one by one... A week of gifts from God
- My vacuum that can suck up all that gunk in just one cleaning
- Scott using his one weekday morning at home to cuddle with the kids for a brief moment before we rushed to get ready for school
- Abel creating imaginary play with this truck-jeep-tractor
- Ruthie waiting patiently while Abel tractored her
- Abel's pride in his "Triangle" book from Bible study
- Gathering up apples at a grocery store sale (less than a dollar a pound!)
- Adrianna's constant creativity with food
- Saturday morning couch cuddles, watching "How It's Made"


- The kids joining Scott in "Touchdown!" for his team

 - Abel entertaining himself with buckling and unbuckling
- Adrianna's pure joy in finding a cereal that she could have
 ... and the hard thanks when it turned out to cause her an allergic reaction

- Continued thanks for discovering Adrianna's food allergies and her feeling so much better when she does not have her allergy-causing foods

- Adrianna wanting to "work on" her bank statement


- Adrianna helping me make pumpkin pie bread... Mmm.

 - Riding home from school again
 - Abel's instant response: "You okay, Anna??" when he heard she fell
 - Finding Abel waiting for me


- Adrianna working towards five stickers in a row from her school report

LOVE that Anna's willing to stop what she's doing, get on the ground and help her brother with his shoes...THAT is what love looks like!
