God's gifts 562-589

From yesterday...
562. Adrianna asking me for two craft sticks, a clothes pin, and markers, and making "toast tongs" for Mother's Day, after seeing a picture of how to make them in her Club House, Jr. magazine
563. Adrianna giving me a card and flower for an early Mother's Day present
564. Abel falling asleep at the craft fair
565. Surprising Adrianna by attending a dance recital that her friend performed in

566. Adrianna gobbling up handfuls of pistachios at the show's intermission, and her not even asking about the bake sale foods for sale there

567. Abel washing Adrianna's hair
568. Picking up Papa Murphy's for dinner

569. Abel saying, "Sor-we, Dad," after dropping a book on Scott's foot accidentally

570. Cleaning out Abel's closet (to make way for the new water line) and Adrianna's toy boxes, and finding surplus to give away
571. Turning Adrianna's room into a play room, with almost all of the toys combined into one room

And from today...
572. Feeling so insufficient to mother two precious gifts from God.  So grateful that His strength is made perfect in weakness

573. Abel finding his talking calculator in the new play room, and shouting, "Equals!" because he can say it now
574. Ruthie's funny "Grimmy" positions
575. Laughing because I found Rusty eating up my Mother's Day breakfast (toast)

576. Abel completing a puzzle at Sunday School -- the first one he's ever taken interest in

577. Adrianna's broccoli smile
578. Lunch of yummy foods from our natural grocery store with my in-laws

579. Abel listing loved ones out-of-the-blue on the way home from church: "Ruthie... Dah-die (Rusty)... Anna... Nana... Papa..."

580. Adrianna helping Grandma Julie and Scott prepare the Mother's Day dinner
581. Finding evidences of Adrianna's playing around her grandparents' house
582. Steve using dutch ovens to make dinner
583. Abel making his own entertainment with a wagon
584. Abel playing with the same trucks that his dad and grandpa used to play with as boys
585. Adrianna "tidying" up
586. Adrianna's flower gifts
587. Dutch-oven/chuck wagon dinner
588. Abel exclaiming, "Hand!" when Grandma opened his card
589. Adrianna showing Grandma the mug she designed for Mother's Day

When you come to MT to visit us-notice I said "WHEN" HEE HEE, we will take you up to our family cabin in the woods and have a whole chuckwagon dinner with the dutch ovens. That is the only way I cook in the summer so I don't heat my house up. Happy Mother's Day M!

Oh my goodness! Rusty managed to squeeze on to the bed of give-away toys!! You didn't box him up and take him to the Good Will, did you?!
Beautiful list of gifts, once again!

So glad you had a beautiful Mother's Day! Those wild flowers in your hand are so pretty!

Keep going strong! You're doing great!!
