One thousand gifts
My sister recommended this book to me.
And while I'm still only in the first few pages, already the reality has grasped me. Living each day in gratitude. Living each moment being fully present.
These are truths that call to me. I know they do because I know I need to grow in the reality of them.
There will be more explanation to come. But for now, I want to start a challenge to myself. I strive to list my own one thousand gifts. One thousand daily treasures that God has given and will give to me. One thousand reminders of His kindness. One thousands gifts that are all around me, waiting to be noticed, waiting to be appreciated, waiting to point to my Father.
When possible, I hope to capture my gifts with a snapshot. This collection is from recently, but going forward, I hope to capture each day alone.
2. Patterns... And the mind of a beautiful little girl who loves them.
5. A surprise Easter bunny. Adrianna popped out of getting into her leotard with her bunny ears on, asking how bunny hops should look. What a delight.
7. A nap on my back. It warmed my heart to have my boy become so comfortable and secure on my back that he feel asleep within minutes.
8. Sewing. Getting my creative juices flowing is such a fun break in my routine. And knowing that all creativity stems for my Creator is the best part.
Here begins my journey of remembering one thousand ways God has blessed my days.
