God's gifts 23-34
The beautiful problem I'm encountering with counting God's daily gifts of grace to me is that there are so many, I am forgetting some of them when I come to write them down.
So here are a couple from yesterday I wanted to remember...
23. Adrianna reminding us to thank God for our food at lunch time.
24. Hearing wind chimes through the open car window, and getting to tell Abel about them for the first time.
And now for today...
25. Watching Adrianna's excitement over finding the Boxcar Children and Little House on the Prairie books on tape at the library.
26. Delighting in watching Abel learn his letters and letter sounds by playing with the Leap Frog magnetic set of ABCs on our fridge. This morning, he told me B says, "Buh." (The third one he knows so far!)
27. Abel trying to convince Adrianna and me that trees say, "Baa."
28. Drooling over the organic produce with the kids at our new natural grocery store.
29. Laughing with Adrianna at the "gi-normous" tumble weed blowing across the road. (She always had a liking for tumble weeds!)
30. Enjoying left-over dinner for lunch. (Left-overs sure make it easier to serve a quick lunch to a tired and hungry clan of mom and kids.)
31. Hearing Abel exclaim, "One, two, tree" every time we put on his pull-up. (They have a pattern that says: 1,2, tree, 1,2, tree, etc.)
32. Not suffering from allergies, even though pollen is everywhere. So grateful that my allergy treatment from last year is working.
33. Abel's joke of pointing to himself while saying, "Mom." (You never will convince me of that one, Abel. :)
34. Accompanying Adrianna as she was treated for food allergies, and marveling at her obedience to the doctor's directions.
