Bold request

First, I must thank you for praying with us and for us.  Thursday was filled with tears, but since then, there has been tremendous peace.  God has been so good to us.  We know that it is just a matter of time before our dear boy will be here.

And I am making a bold request to God.  If you wish, feel free to join me in asking Him for this...

I am asking God, if it would be His will -- if it would bring Him glory -- to allow our court date to be moved up with a successful passing (sooner than May 17).  I am also asking that our tentative travel date (the week of June 21) would be moved up, too.

We have seen with other families in our agency that both of these events can and do happen, so I figure we might as well ask for them!

Another adopting mom (http://www.allglorybetogod.blogspot.com/) gave me a list of specific requests that she prayed for her court date.  I will include them here, if you want to join with us in praying for our next court date...

1. The MOWA (Ministry of Women's Affairs) representative, judge, and orphanage director would attend be there, and anyone else that needs to be.

2. The official seals and signatures would be where they need to be in the paperwork.

3. Our son's name is on all the documents and spelled correctly.

4. Our names are on all the documents and spelled correctly.

5. MOWA would write the approval summary for the judge and get it to him or her on time.

6. The judge or MOWA representative are not in a meeting.

7. That court would not be postponed.

8. That nothing would be able to come against court being passed.

And of course, to include my Psalm from this morning...

Psalm 30:4,5
Sing praise to the Lord, you saints of His,
and give thanks at the remembrance of His holy name....
Weeping may endure for a night,
but joy comes in the morning.

O holy, powerful maker of the universe, work on the behalf of this family! We know you hold all these matters in your hands. These details are nothing to you, but they are overwhelming to us. Take them all and work them to YOUR glory. Not for us, but for the glory of your name, that for the rest of our lives we could tell what YOU have done.
Praying for it!!! We have our trust in him. Amen
