Oh dear!
"Mommy, what do I smell?" has become a favorite question for Adrianna over the past several months. She has a little super-sniffer and smells things long before the rest of us do. And helping a three-year-old figure out how to use that question in the right context is more challenging than it would seem.
So a few nights ago, at dinner, she asks her famous, "What do I smell?" I cough a little and say, "Gas, honey." She looks up, very serious, and says, "Is that dangerous??"
How embarrassing.
