Moments of God's grace from Wednesday... - Adrianna and Abel sharing a ride - Adrianna climbing her first tree - Abel waking up from his nap to snatch a cuddle with Grandpa - Adrianna and Abel working with play dough and clay while I made dinner ...But Abel having more fun pestering his sis - Adrianna making a giant skinny snake for Jenny ... And an artistic flower for me - Finding a new recipe for  gluten-free sandwich rolls , which Scott and the kids loved (and they are loaded with protein!) - And finding a recipe for dairy-free peanut butter cups ... Mmm, this one's dangerous And from Thursday... - Playing with Abel while waiting for Adrianna to finish her swim class - The pool having a play area - Chatting with a friend while waiting - Abel always jumping in to pray when we bow for dinner grace... And always thanking God for Bible study - Having a future Campus Crusade International worker share his plans with our Bible study - The majesty of clouds build...

From Monday... - Adrianna taking swim classes for the second time this summer, and Abel calling it, "Anna's pool" - Sweet hands helping with a screw driver  - Abel's new song he keeps singing, that sounds an awful lot like an Ethiopian song to the rest of us... (Maybe it is?) - Using handy lunch containers to make packing kids' lunches easier - Abel asking me to play, "E I E I O," on the piano - Waking up earlier to transition towards "school time" And from today... - Having just enough staffing for our final VBS, even though five of our helpers were out today... and watching God's provision for that need week after week - Playing relays with the kids at VBS - Painting a "fool's gold" rock with the kids at VBS - Adrianna keeping good spirits, even through swim class, VBS, lunch at VBS, a bike ride, and playing in the street with friends - Abel saying, "Uh oh, Mom, Affey (Giraffey) hurt," when he saw ...

From Friday... - Scott taking Adrianna on a "daddy date" for the day - Having a day with just Abel - Going thrift-storing with Abel - Abel playing with our neighbor Jenny, because each wanted Adrianna to come home - Adrianna walking home from the bus stop with Scott with a spring in her step, from her day of happy times - Jenny and Adrianna coming up with a funny way to play with a stroller and a grocery cart - Our neighbor Jack practicing animal sounds with Abel From Saturday... - Abel realizing that it was Scott's day off, and greeting Scott with, "Hi Daddy!  Coffee??" because he loves to help make it - Sorting through the fall's kids clothes from the attic ...And Adrianna helping decide which clothes would work best for her ...And Scott helping the kids try on their shoes, to find which ones fit best - Cleaning out closets and making give-away piles - Abel having to climb in a box because it was just there - Safari Abel - Adrianna w...

From yesterday... - Having an old camera that still works, when our newer one died - Taking the kids to our children's museum with some of our play group - Adrianna working on making her own Hank the Cowdog movie short - Adrianna returning to her favorite worm bin at the museum - Adrianna in a growth spurt, finishing Abel's meals - Adrianna spelling everything for me, "Mom, I know how to spell Whole Foods.  Do you want to hear?" - Abel doing his happy dance every time he feels like it And from today... - Migraines (hard thanks) - God's provision during migraines: ...Like the kids watching "Super Why" while I closed my eyes to wait for the visual disturbance to pass ... And the kids playing nicely ... And my mother-in-law bringing left-overs for us to have for lunch ... And my mother-in-law watching the kids play outside,while I laid down ...And only have three migraines in the last six months - Making batons with Adrianna - Ad...

From Saturday... - Taking Adrianna school supply shopping for the very first time - A fresh hair cut - Abel making a game of trying on Adrianna's new socks on the way home - Adrianna entertaining herself with her new socks all the way home (forty-five minutes) From Sunday... - Making a fun breakfast for the kids, with a new muffin  recipe - Scott taking the kids to Sunday school, and me getting a little time by myself - Adrianna wanting to make an easy reader book during her rest time - Two sweet companions finally at home together - Scott's parents coming to give us landscaping ideas - Scott's dad helping to remove one of our scraggly trees - Adrianna asking for our bottle of juice and some cups to share with all her neighbor friends in the street - Sharing a crock of beans with my in-laws - Trying a new recipe for gluten-free wraps... Yummy! - Adrianna's excitement of showing Grandma her new school supplies - Abel + firetruck + Grandpa's boots - ...
