God's gifts 16-22

Today I have dealt with the cold that Abel passed my way.  Because I'm not feeling like myself, it sure has been uplifting to look for God's gifts to me.

16. A hot shower without children interrupting.

17. Abel sharing cheesy scrambled eggs for morning snack with me.

18.  Abel's hat adventures... First Abel tried on my hat, with mischief in his eyes.  Then he enjoyed trying on the dress up hats at his grandparents' house.

19. "Mom, can I help you get lunch ready?"  Adrianna asked.  And then she helped me.

20. Adrianna's grace.  Our little girl, whose name means "rich in grace," showed me sweet grace today.  When she got up from her rest time, I wasn't feeling well.  And even while I was grouchy, she helped me ice Abel's cupcakes and maintained the sweetest attitude.  When I apologized to her for being grouchy, she smiled, and skipped away.

21. Hearing Adrianna teach "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star" to Abel word by word as we drove to the park.

22. Watching Abel cover his face with frosting and cupcake as we shared his pre-birthday snack with play group friends.

Hi Marianne,
Thanks for your prayers for us. It has been really hard! How do you pronounce Abel? That is our son's name too? ~Angie
