God's gifts from happy summer days
Here again to list the gifts God has so graciously given us in each moment... - Taking the kids to an African restaurant ... And realizing too late that we forgot to order Abel something African (we got him something from the kids' menu!) ... And the yummy lentil stews Adrianna and I got - Finding a robin perched so prettily on the birdhouse my grandpa built us - Abel eating his first breakfast on the couch, feeling sad that his sis wasn't there to share it with him (she and Scott went garage sale-ing) - Adrianna working on her first canvas ... And her buying it with her allowance ... And her wanting to make it like the one her cousin Madelene made her - *More* cherries from our tree and our neighbors' trees - Adrianna and Abel each taking a turn to help me with cherry pitting ... And the ease of my mother-in-law's cherry pitter - Abel using his tractor indoors while it's been very hot outdoors - Enjoying cherry cobbler ...
